Image Credit: BW LNG BW LNG has ordered two additional dual-fuel LNG ships from South Korean shipbuilder HD Hyundai Samho . The two ships are scheduled for delivery in the second and third quarters of 2029 , BW LNG said in a LinkedIn post on Thursday . The latest order follows BW LNG’s earlier contract for two sister vessels placed in November 2025 , which are scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2028 . The ships will feature dual-fuel engines from WinGD . “The vessels will feature the industry’s first large-scale three-tank design in LNG, offering increased cargo capacity and lower boil-off, whilst maintaining full operational flexibility, BW LNG said.
