Proposed U.S.-Iran deal would unblock Hormuz, lift U.S. sanctions – reports in International Shipping News 12/06/2026 A proposed peace deal between the U.S. and Iran would include a commitment from Tehran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and a promise from Washington to lift oil sanctions, according to reports in Iranian state media on Friday. He also suggested that “discussions and final points” on a peace deal with Iran had been “approved
