Hafnia and Símbolo have added four more shipping partners to their foundational AI joint venture called Complexio. Shipping companies Marfin Management, C Transport Maritime, Trans Sea Transport and BW Epic Kosan have all begun the process of ingesting and mapping their data with Complexio. Foundational AI’s main focus is to enable human-machine collaboration by connecting to all areas of a company’s infrastructure and providing a centralised hub that serves as the primary point of AI-driven analysis and decision-making. This transformational approach takes the role of AI from isolated applications in separate departments to build a unified, integrated system that enhances the entire organisation’s performance and productivity. Having started this process in 2023, Hafnia CEO Mikael Skov said opening up the initiative with other partners in shipping is the next step in propelling the industry into an AI-first world. “90% of global workforces spend 60% of their time on recurring tasks.
