Accelleron has received ClassNK certification for two digital tools within its LOREKA360° maritime platform. The certification covers Tekomar XPERT Engine and Emissions Desk. Both received Products & Solutions certification under ClassNK’s Innovation Endorsement framework. Together, the two solutions are currently deployed on around 3,000 vessels. ClassNK examined functions related to data acquisition, data handling and analytics. It also reviewed relevant security documentation. The certification independently confirms the documented functions and data processes of both solutions. Supporting vessel efficiency and emissions reporting Tekomar XPERT Engine monitors engine performance and provides operators with recommendations to improve efficiency. The software can work with different engine makes and sizes. It also allows operators to compare performance across vessels and fleets. Meanwhile, Emissions Desk converts vessel data into emissions reporting and operational insights. The solution supports compliance with several regulatory requirements, including IMO and EU frameworks. In addition, its reporting software can transfer relevant data directly to the ClassNK MRV Portal. “This certification provides valuable independent recognition of the data processing and analytical functions of Tekomar XPERT Engine and Emissions Desk,” said Shailesh Shirsekar, Head of Global Operations and Sales Digital Solutions, Accelleron. “These functions are designed to support operational decisions related to fuel consumption and emissions across a wide range of vessels,” he added.
