A couple of flagship deals in both the Kamsarmax and Handysize sectors set the tone, highlighting the upward momentum. Demand remains strong across the board, while the limited availability of quality tonnage continues to push asset values. Dry Cargo The CCS ORCHID (ABT 82K DWT, 2017, JIANGSU NEW YANGZIJIANG) has been sold via online auction, at USD 27.24 m to Greek buyers. 18 buyers bid in total, with the reserve price being USD 22.78 m. On the Handysize front, the modern SIDER IMABARI (ABT 40K DWT, 2024, SHIMANAMI) was sold for USD 34.8 m. Meanwhile, the Japanese controlled PACIFIC HARMONY (ABT 38K DWT, 2013, IMABARI), after being inspected by more than 15 Buyers last week, eventually sold for region USD 18 m basis drydock due in May 2026. For comparison, the last sistership sold was the TBC PRIME (ABT 38K DWT, 2011 MINAMINIPPON) that fetched USD 14.1 m back in November 2025. Tanker Two MR sales have been recorded, with the scrubber fitted sister vessels FINNANGER (ABT 46K DWT, 2009, HYUNDAI MIPO) and FJELLANGER (ABT 46K DWT, 2010, HYUNDAI MIPO) committed enbloc to c/o Msea Tankers, achieving a combined price of mid USD 47 m.
