Houston-headquartered energy service giant Halliburton has won a contract from Petrobras for integrated drilling across several offshore fields in Brazil. The contract scope covers development and exploration wells over three years and significantly expands Halliburton’s drilling services footprint in the pre-salt and post-salt areas, the New Yourk-listed company said. “This contract demonstrates Halliburton’s strength in deep and ultra-deep offshore drilling and well construction,” said Waldomiro Mendes, vice president of Brazil unit at Halliburton. The contract is set to start this year and represents Halliburton’s largest service agreement with Petrobras. Financial terms have not been disclosed. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1_95_0_1_2'); }); TagsBrazil United States
