Aug. 27 2019 Home Class & statutory JOINT CONCENTRATED INSPECTION CAMPAIGN (CIC) ON EMERGENCY SYSTEMS AND PROCEDURES LinkedIn Twitter Facebook share Convention SOLAS CH I General Provisions Flag CYPRUS Ship typeAll Sea going Ship types CIC on Emergency Systems and Procedures from 1st September 2019 to 30th November 2019 The Shipping Ministry of the Republic of Cyprus has issued the following attached circular, which concerns the joint Concentrated Inspection Campaign (CIC) of the Paris, Tokyo, Black Sea, Indian Ocean and Mediterranean Memoranda of Understanding on Port State Control (MoUs) on Emergency Systems and Procedures. The Campaign will be conducted within a period of three months, commencing from 1st September 2019 to 30th November 2019. During the CIC, Port State Control Officers (PSCOs) will check compliance on all vessels, regardless of type, and will examine specific areas related to the campaign in addition to regular Port State Control inspections. Owners and managers are urged to take all appropriate actions in order to ensure that all relevant crew members on board ships flying the Cyprus Flag are qualified and familiar with operations relating to shipboard emergency systems and that equipment is properly maintained and functioning. 13-2019 (2019-08-08) Download
