Deteriorating Situation in Iran We have received urgent information from our correspondents in Iran, Calm Sea Culture Marine Services Ltd. and Sea Pars Shipping Services Ltd., regarding the recent deterioration of the situation in Iran following attacks by the United States and Israel. It is reported that the Strait of Hormuz has been blockaded and all Iranian ports have been officially closed. Consequently, we request that all vessels currently navigating or planning to transit the Arabian Sea, the Persian Gulf, and the Gulf of Oman including the Strait of Hormuz exercise utmost vigilance and take the following actions:   1. Blockade of the Strait of Hormuz The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has reportedly declared a blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. Iranian naval units are broadcasting continuous warnings on VHF Channel 16, explicitly stating that "no vessel is permitted to cross the Strait of Hormuz". Vessels attempting to defy these instructions face an extreme risk of seizure or direct missile engagement.   2. Current Situation and Port Closures in Iran All Iranian ports are officially closed. Ports are currently designated as high-risk zones and are unsafe for berthing or anchorage due to their proximity to strategic targets.   3. Imminent Communication Blackout Internet access across Iran is severely restricted and unstable, with a total blackout of domestic telecommunications expected imminently.   4. Recommendations for Vessels Vessels outside the Persian Gulf : All vessels bound for the Persian Gulf must stay well clear of the Strait of Hormuz and remain in the North Arabian Sea. Vessels inside the Persian Gulf : Vessels currently inside the Gulf should seek immediate safety in neutral territorial waters (e.g., UAE or Oman) where possible, in light of the current blockade of the Strait.   The situation remains highly fluid and unpredictable. Please act with the utmost caution, prioritising Crew Safety and Vessel Security
