Senior executives from CMA CGM visited the Port of Colombo to review the port’s operations and discuss future collaboration with the Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA). The delegation included Christine Cabau, Executive Vice President of CMA CGM, Jesper Stenbak, Senior Vice President ADRO, Eric Daniel Van Den Driesen, Country General Manager of CMA CGM Lanka, and Pasan Periyapperuma, Deputy General Manager – Operations and Logistics of CMA CGM Lanka. During the visit, the executives toured the port’s major terminals and operational facilities. They received an overview of the port’s infrastructure, capabilities and ongoing development projects. The delegation also visited the Pilot Station, where SLPA officials presented the port’s pilotage operations and their role in ensuring safe and efficient vessel movements.
