Copenhagen Malmö Port has joined the Portchain Connect Network to improve berth planning and coordination with shipping lines. The port will use Portchain Connect to simplify berth alignment through digital handshakes and secure data sharing. The platform provides real-time schedule and move count updates directly from carrier systems. It also allows the port to respond quickly with updated berth plans and scheduling proposals. Portchain Connect helps terminals and carriers share accurate data, reduce manual communication and improve schedule reliability. The platform gives users a real-time overview of vessel calls while supporting faster and more secure berth planning. Portchain said the partnership will help improve predictability and efficiency for vessel operations at one of Scandinavia’s key logistics hubs.
