Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)-Enhanced Quarantine Measures in Korea We would like to announce the latest information on enhanced quarantine measures by the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency.   It is mandatory for vessels who have called one of the following countries to submit COVID-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) negative certificate after 3 August 2020.   Russia Pakistan Bangladesh Kazakhstan Kyrgyzstan Philippines Uzbekistan   This requirement applies for crews who embarked or went ashore in the said countries. The certificate must be issued by the designated hospital within 48 hours before departure from a port.   As of 8 September 2020, if proper certificates are not submitted, penal servitude not more than 1 year or a fine not exceeding KRW10,000,000 per person shall be imposed.   For more information, please see the attached notice issued by our local correspondents in Korea, Eastern Shipping Co., Ltd.
