Summary As from 1 October 2018, ships as below are required to use low sulphur content fuel not exceeding 0.5%m/m Ships navigating in Shanghai port area (Shanghai Maritime Safety Administration issued a formal notice on 27 August 2018) Ships destined for Ningbo or Zhoushan in Yangtze River Delta ECA (Zhejiang Maritime Safety Administration issued a formal notice on 30 August 2018) Ships entering Suzhou and Nantong ECA area in Yangtze River Delta ECA (Jiangsu Maritime Safety Administration issued a notice dated 27 August 2018)   Please refer to the correspondent’s circular attached for more details.
