As announced, the seafarers arrived in the country on 15 May and were warmly reunited with their families upon arrival. They were welcomed by officials from the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), led by Assistant Secretary Jerome T. Pampolina and Director Augusto B. San Diego III, along with personnel from the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).
