Maersk has revised its truck fuel surcharges in Greece, Cyprus and Skopje, effective 28 September 2026. The carrier attributed the adjustments to higher fuel costs linked to the current situation in the Middle East. The revised surcharge levels are: Location Truck fuel surcharge Greece 27.5% Skopje 27.5% Cyprus 17.5% The temporary measure will remain in effect for as long as Maersk considers it necessary to cover the additional costs. During this period, the carrier will review the surcharge weekly instead of monthly. No adjustment trigger will apply, while new levels will be announced every Friday for the following week. The charges will appear on invoices under the codes EFS for Export Fuel Surcharge and IFS for Import Fuel Surcharge.
