Norwegian offshore service provider Archer has been awarded a two-year contract for platform drilling services for Equinor in Brazil. The estimated firm contract value awarded by the Norwegian giant is $40m and includes an optional two-year extension period. The deal will begin in November 2024 in direct continuation of Archer’s current contract for drilling operations and maintenance on Equinor’s Peregrino A and B platforms which ends on November 30, 2024. Work under the current deal between Equinor and Archer has been underway since December 2020. That was the most recent four-year extension of a contract which goes back to the Peregrino A drilling start-up of operations in 2008. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1_95_0_1_2'); }); TagsBrazil Norway
