OceanScore and Anglo-Eastern Univan Group are working together to support compliance with the European Union Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) and FuelEU Maritime regulations. The cooperation began in mid-2025 as Anglo-Eastern prepared for the phased introduction of new decarbonization requirements. The companies are focusing on data management, cost allocation and regulatory reporting across vessels under Anglo-Eastern’s management. EU ETS and FuelEU Maritime have increased compliance requirements for ship managers, especially those overseeing vessels with different ownership structures and charter arrangements. To address these challenges, Anglo-Eastern adopted OceanScore’s Compliance Manager platform. The system supports SHIPMAN-aligned cost allocation, charter party interpretation, invoicing, verification tracking and emissions monitoring through a single platform. “EU ETS compliance involves more than emissions calculations alone,” said Torbjorn Dimblad, Chief Information Officer at Anglo-Eastern. “Our objective was to put in place processes that are consistent, transparent and scalable across fleets and stakeholders.” The companies are also addressing challenges faced by shipping businesses operating outside Europe. OceanScore supports customers through teams in Europe and Asia, including offices in Singapore and Japan.
