Subsea Integration Alliance, a non-incorporated tie-up between Subsea 7 and SLB’s OneSubsea has secured a new contract from Turkish Petroleum for work on the Sakarya field development in the Black Sea. The contract worth up to $500m involves the installation of Turkey’s first floating production unit. It follows an initial engineering, procurement, construction and installation contract awarded in May 2023 to a consortium including SLB, Subsea Integration Alliance and Saipem. The extended work scope will include the installation and integration of risers, umbilicals, hook-ups and mooring systems with the FPU. Project management and engineering will be coordinated through the Subsea 7 office in Istanbul.
