FacebookTwitterEmailLinkedin Sweden has confiscated a cargo vessel believed to be linked to Russia’s so-called shadow fleet after it was seized in early March on suspicion of transporting stolen Ukrainian grain, according to the country’s prosecution service. The vessel was en route to St. Petersburg when Swedish armed police boarded the ship on 6 March. During the operation, a crew member was detained on suspicion of breaching maritime regulations and ship safety laws, as well as using falsified documentation.
