Houston-based Oceaneering has secured a contract to design the maintenance strategy for a floating production, storage, and offloading (FPSO) vessel set to be installed offshore Brazil. The project, which will be managed by Oceaneering in Rio de Janeiro, aims to optimise the FPSO’s performance, enhance reliability, and ensure smooth operations, Oceaneering said without disclosing further details about the vessel and the value of the contract. The work scope will cover the development of an asset management philosophy, asset hierarchy, criticality assessment, FMECA analysis, maintenance build, and spare part strategy. The contract is for two years. Oceaneering has designed maintenance strategies for FPSOs worldwide, and Oceaneering’s manager in Brazil, Simao Silva, said the latest award demonstrates the company’s capability to execute complex maintenance engineering projects in Brazil and marks a significant milestone for its regional office. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1_95_0_1_2'); }); TagsBrazil United States
