Greek shipowner Sun Enterprises has returned to South Korean yards in its latest fleet expansion move. The company, which has built most of its tankers in South Korea, has commissioned DH Shipbuilding for a pair of suezmaxes at $90.5m each. Shipbuilding sources say the 158,000 dwt newbuilds which are the company’s first in nearly a decade, will be LNG dual-fuelled and delivered in 2027. The tanker arm of the Livanos Group currently has 16 tankers on the water, of which three are suezmaxes.
