Norwegian offshore vessel owner Solstad Maritime has lined up a fresh contract cover for its construction support vessel Normand Navigator, signing a letter of intent with an international subsea contractor. The Oslo-listed group said the contract is due to start in the second quarter of 2026 and will run for 450 days, with options to extend. The vessel will be deployed on worldwide operations, providing subsea construction and support services across multiple regions. As part of the charter, Solstad will deliver a full subsea package in cooperation with Omega Subsea. This includes two work-class remotely operated vehicles, complete with crews, along with tooling and survey services to support the client’s scope of work. Commercial terms have not been disclosed, but the deal adds to Solstad’s forward coverage as subsea activity continues to firm across both oil and gas and renewable-related projects. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1_95_0_1_2'); }); TagsNorway
