FacebookTwitterEmailLinkedin The Clean Shipping Coalition, through its president Delaine McCullough, is urging IMO member states at the upcoming ISWG-GHG 21 and MEPC 84 meetings to complete and strengthen the technical foundations of the proposed Net-Zero Framework (NZF) for shipping emissions. The group stresses that “member states must use these coming days to build out key guidelines” so the framework can be ready for adoption later in 2026. They are pushing three main priorities. First, they want the Carbon Intensity Indicator strengthened and made enforceable.
