Trying to disrupt the financial networks supporting the Iran-backed Houthi movement, the US Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) on Friday designated 21 individuals and entities, including one vessel and a number of ship captains involved in delivering oil products. “Treasury will use all tools at its disposal to expose the networks and individuals enabling Houthi terrorism,” said treasury secretary Scott Bessent.
