Andrea Realfonzo will join the firm as bunker manager in Lugano under its Alcyon brand, he told Ship & Bunker last week. Realfonzo is due to start work in the new role in three months . Realfonzo had worked for shipping firm Grimaldi Group in Italy since December 2007 , serving most recently as head of its corporate chartering and bunker department. He has also been a member of industry body IBIA 's European Regional Board since October 2024 .  Nova Marine Carriers has a fleet of 73 dry bulk carriers , according to the company's website. The firm was founded in 1981 .
