AUTORIDAD DEL CANAL DE PANAMÁ VICE PRESIDENCY FOR TRANSIT BUSINESS 3654-A (NTXI) V. 8-1-2019 ADVISORIES ARE AVAILABLE AT http://www.pancanal.com FOR ETAS OR DIRECT COMMUNICATION WITH OUR OFFICES, REFER TO NOTICE N-3-2019 ADVISORY TO SHIPPING No. A-23-2019 June 21, 2019 TO : All Shipping Agents, Owners, and Operators SUBJECT: Update of the Maximum Authorized Draft for Vessels Transiting the Panama Canal The Panama Canal Authority (ACP) announces that the maximum authorized draft of 13.11 m (43.0 feet) Tropical Fresh Water (TFW) for vessels transiting the Neopanamax locks and 11.73 m (38.5 feet) TFW for vessels transiting the Panamax locks, scheduled to become effective June 26, 2019 as announced in Advisory to Shipping A-21-2019, is being postponed until July 3, 2019. Therefore, the maximum authorized draft allowed of 13.41 m (44.0 feet) TFW for vessels transiting the Neopanamax locks and 12.04m (39.5 feet) TFW for vessels transiting the Panamax locks will remain in effect until July 2, 2019.
