Adani-owned offshore service provider Astro Offshore has entered the PSV segment after the acquisition of two vessels from India’s Alphard. The acquisition of two modern platform supply vessels, built in 2020 and 2023, marks the company’s first entry into the PSV market, enhancing fleet diversification. This also marks Astro Offshore’s formal entry into a new geographical market – West Africa, where the vessels will operate. With these additions, Astro Offshore now operates 44 vessels, including two 2025 diesel-electric AHTS newbuilds arriving in the coming weeks and two 2025 ballastable barges scheduled for completion later this year. “By entering the PSV segment and expanding into West Africa, we’re demonstrating our ambition, agility, and our position as a truly global offshore partner,” said Mark Humphreys, CEO of Astro Offshore. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1_95_0_1_2'); }); TagsUnited Arab Emirates
