FacebookTwitterEmailLinkedin HD Hyundai is moving to integrate physical AI into shipyard operations, with a new demonstration at HD Hyundai Samho’s shipyard in Yeongam, South Jeolla Province, combining 5G and GPU-based AI computing to enable autonomous welding and painting. The demonstration, led by KT, forms part of South Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT initiative to develop high-performance AI network infrastructure. It will apply 5G standalone (SA), network slicing, AI-RAN and autonomous network technologies, allowing robots to process video and sensor data in real time and carry out operations with greater autonomy.
