Chile – Alert to the vessels calling at Chilean ports We have received the below information from our local correspondents, Cave & Cía. Ltda. and Jorquiera & Rozas Abogados.   As it is reported on the media, the public safety in Chile has been getting worse since the middle of October. Due to the State of Emergency and night curfew, operation of several ports have stopped or shortened. In addition, it is reported that several ports (such as Antofagasta, Talcahuano, San Vicente, Lirquén and Coronel) are subject to strike.   Please note that the change of local situation is so unforeseeable that we suggest for the members to obtain latest information from local agents whenever call at Chilean ports.
