Oslo-listed seismic data specialist TGS has been awarded an ultra-high resolution OBN contract in the US Gulf of Mexico. A deep-water crew is scheduled to mobilise in early June 2026. The agreement with the unnamed customer will ensure that the same crew which the client used before will execute the work. “This is part of a long-term agreement, and as such, we have worked extensively together with our client on survey design solutions,” said Kristian Johansen, CEO of TGS.
