Privately Contracted Armed Security Personnel (PCASP) are permitted to serve on board RMI flagged vessels for the sole purpose of protecting said vessel against piracy, hijacking, and armed robbery while transiting a designated HRA. A letter of non-objection (LONO) will be issued to RMI registered yachts for the embarkation of a PCASP team in very rare cases, and only while transiting a designated HRA.
