First, we update on MV Ever Forward and Wan Hai 176 and discuss the issues of critical needed elements in our port infrastructure; such as high-power tugs, salvage vessels, and firefighting capabilities. Second, the global supply chain is reeling from repeated issues and it is appearing in the fact that shipping may not be available to fill the need for vital grain shipments. Third, two of the largest tanker firms - Euronav and Frontline - announced a merger to make them the largest tanker company in the world. Fourth, contaminated diesel fuel in Singapore has impacted 60 ships and this issue may have been years in the making. Finally, commercial shipyard contracts in China by Taiwan maybe underwriting the construction of Chinese naval ships, incluing the recent purchase of two used roll-on/roll-off ships for the Ready Reserve Force.
