Turkey’s Densay Shipping & Trading has made a smart asset play, pocketing millions from a handysize it picked up four months ago. Brokers report Densay has sold the Japanese-built, seven-year-old SSI Daring to South Korea’s HMM for $26.7m. Densay had picked up the 36,228 dwt ship from Lauritzen for $24m in March. Densay also sold the four-year-old, 63,000-dwt SSI Privilege Jinling-built ultramax to HMM earlier in the year.
