German owner Horst Zeppenfeld has exited the container markets, with Alphaliner reporting the sale of the 2006-built, 1,341 teu Algol to Greece’s Element Shipmanagement. The Algol is currently on charter to X-Press Feeders, working routes in South America. The deal leaves Horst Zeppenfeld with two 2014-built handy bulk carriers in its fleet and takes Element’s box fleet to six vessels. At its peak, Horst Zeppenfeld, a non-operating owner, had some eight boxships. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1_95_0_1_2'); }); TagsGermany
