ADVISORIES ARE AVAILABLE AT http://www.pancanal.com FOR ETAS OR DIRECT COMMUNICATION WITH OUR OFFICES, REFER TO NOTICE N-3-2023 Panama Canal Authority Vice Presidency for Operations Advisory to Shipping No. A-14-2023 March 24, 2023 TO : All Shipping Agents, Owners, and Operators SUBJECT : Draft Adjustment to 14.48 m (47.5 feet) TFW in the Neopanamax Locks Based on the present and projected level of Gatun Lake for the upcoming weeks, the Panama Canal Authority (ACP) announces that effective April 22, 2023, the maximum authorized draft allowed for vessels transiting the Neopanamax locks will be 14.48 m (47.5 feet) TFW. Vessels arriving with drafts over 14.48 m (47.5 feet) TFW may be allowed to transit past April 22, 2023, depending on the actual level of Gatun Lake at the time of transit. Otherwise, they will be required to trim or off-load cargo in order to be allowed to transit. The ACP will continue to monitor the level of Gatun Lake and announce future draft adjustments in a timely manner.
