FacebookTwitterEmailLinkedin Stolt Tankers has marked a key milestone in its fleet expansion program with the launch of the first, methanol-ready vessel in an eight-ship newbuild series, developed in partnership with NYK Line. The vessel was launched on June 2 at the Nantong Xiangyu Shipyard in China. The new vessel is a 38,000 DWT stainless steel chemical parcel tanker, designed by FKAB Marine Design. It features 30 cargo tank segregations, enabling flexible and highly specialized chemical transport operations.
