March 11, 2026, proved a bad day for merchant mariners with three attacks on ships - one in the Strait of Hormuz that led to three mariners going missing and the crew having to abandon their ship, which was on fire. There were two other attacks inside the Persian Gulf, and all seem to be victims of unmanned surface vessels.
