Small-scale liquified natural gas player Avenir LNG Limited has executed new time charter agreements for two of its LNG bunker vessels. Avenir’s affiliate Future Horizon – a joint venture between Avenir and MISC – signed a new two-year time charter agreement with Petronas trading arm PETCO Trading Labuan Company for the 7,500-cu m Avenir Advantage. According to VesselsValue data, it has been working for Petronas since its delivery in October 2022. The company also entered into an agreement to time charter the 7,500-cu m Avenir Accolade for a period of up to two years with NFE Transport Partners, a subsidiary of New Fortress Energy. The vessel has been serving New Fortress Energy under a bareboat contract since April 2021 and this new time charter will extend the term of the original agreement up until the fourth quarter of 2025. The company stated that the two deals would increase the company’s total charter revenue backlog, including options, to $115m. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1_95_0_1_2'); }); TagsUnited Kingdom
