CEVA Logistics and EFL Africa have launched a joint venture in Nigeria, creating CEVA EFL Limited. The new company strengthens both partners’ presence in West Africa and expands access to global markets. CEVA EFL combines EFL Africa’s local expertise with CEVA Logistics’ global network and end-to-end logistics capabilities. Nigeria is one of Africa’s largest logistics markets and serves as a key gateway to West Africa. The partners aim to improve connectivity between the region and international markets. CEVA operates in more than 170 countries. Through the joint venture, Nigerian customers will gain easier access to global supply chains and logistics services. CEVA EFL will provide integrated logistics, transportation and customs clearance solutions. The company will also operate dedicated barge services to improve cargo movements around Lagos. The joint venture will move containers from Lagos ports to Inland Container Depots (ICDs) using barges. This approach reduces dependence on road transport and shortens transit times. CEVA EFL operates 140,000 square metres of ICD space across facilities in Ikorodu and Apapa. The infrastructure also includes an Export Processing Terminal (EPT). The company will handle customs clearance through its licensed in-house team. This service will help customers speed up cargo processing and improve supply chain efficiency. The partners said the venture will support Nigeria’s logistics sector by combining international expertise with local market knowledge. The joint venture will also promote knowledge transfer, strengthen local capabilities and support EFL’s long-term growth plans. “This joint venture represents a bold step forward in our commitment to connecting Nigeria and West Africa to the world,” said Sylvain Kluba, Vice President of Finance IMEA at CEVA Logistics. “By combining CEVA’s global reach and logistics expertise with EFL’s deep local knowledge and infrastructure, the CEVA EFL joint venture is uniquely positioned
