A merican Club Circular No . 13/23 1 OCTOBER 12, 2023 CIRCULAR NO. 13/23 TO MEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIATION Dear Member: PRE-EMPLOYMENT MEDICAL EXAMINATION (PEME) PROGRAM: FRAUDULENT PEME CERTIFICATES Your Managers have recently been informed by one of our approved PEME clinics in Romania that there are fraudulent American Club PEME certificates in circulation. We recommend that Members remain diligent and check the authenticity of Club PEME certificates that require an original and uniquely numbered hologram security sticker to be affixed. As per our policy, the seafarers retain the original American Club PEME form. If Members and their agents are unable to verify the medical certificate directly, they can do so with the clinic or the Managers by confirming the number on the hologram security sticker. Members are asked to note the foregoing and be guided accordingly.
