Open Seminar in Seoul held on 8 July 2025 31 July 2025 Tweet To the Members   We held an open seminar in Seoul, South Korea, on 8 July 2025. More than 60 people attended the seminar and the subsequent reception.   During the seminar, Mr. K.M. Choi, an attorney from the Korean law firm Choi & Kim, gave a presentation in Korean on "Legal Issues Arising from Damage to Submarine Cables Caused by Ships", following this, Mr. Takeo Saito, Chief Specialist, Claims Department I of the Japan P&I Club, provided an explanation in English regarding "Cargo Claims Handling Issues in Asia".   For this seminar, we incorporated answers to questions that were submitted in advance. Additionally, a lively Q&A session took place on the day of the seminar. We received significant feedback from participants who commented that they "gained useful information that could help prevent accidents that might occur with vessels owned or managed by their companies".
