Right photo : From Steamship London : Simone Vena and Dina Angelopoulou As the clock struck midday in London, Steamship Mutual marked the start of the new P&I year by the traditional ringing of the Steamship Renewal Bell. 20 February 2020 marks the start of the new P&I year and Steamship Mutual looks forward with confidence to working with Members old and new. The Club will make a capital distribution to Members amounting to 7.5% of premium paid for Class 1 P&I mutual entries in the 2019/20 policy year, in respect of vessels whose entries are renewed for the 2020/21 policy year. Steamship Mutual Underwriting Association (Europe) Limited, a member of the International Group, will begin operating in Limassol, Cyprus on 20 February 2020, with the support from Piraeus and London. The Europe Club has an S&P “A” rating, reflecting the Steamship Mutual Group’s continued financial strength. Our teams in Bermuda, Hong Kong, Limassol, London, Piraeus, Rio de Janeiro, Singapore and Tokyo are looking forward to working with all our Members in 2020. Happy New P&I Year!
