September milling wheat on Paris-based Euronext traded 4.3% higher at €213.75 ($244.21) per metric ton at 1434 GMT, marking its highest level since May 26. Chicago Board of Trade wheat also climbed to a six-week peak. Ukraine has struck several Russian tankers in the Sea of Azov, which connects to the Black Sea. Market traders reported discussions about a possible Russian closure of the Azov Sea to all shipping operations.
