Gordons presentation is on his 2022 academic work investigating the UK maritime training strategy for the future professional mariner. Participants within his surveys, analysis and commentary were from a broad base of professional mariners and those that head up the major government, public and private entities that comprise maritime training. Future focused it asked the difficult questions about the UK’s readiness for future fuels, MASS and most importantly the seafarers.
