CMA CGM has welcomed the arrival of the first Indian flagged containership registered by a major foreign carrier. With a total capacity of 2,592 teu, CMA CGM Vitoria serves India on the group’s BIGEX network, which offers direct links between India, the Gulf, and the Red Sea, performing weekly calls from Nhava Sheva and Mundra. The group will register three more vessels in India in the coming months, following on from a recent visit by Narendra Modi to CMA CGM’s Marseille headquarters.
