Vogemann has added to its series of capesize bulker newbuilds at Hengli Shipbuilding in Dalian. Industry sources say the German owner has returned to the Chinese shipyard formerly known as STX Dalian for four 180,000 dwt scrubber-fitted bulkers, with delivery in 2026 and 2027. The deal builds on Vogemann’s order last year involving four capes as well as four kamsarmaxes. The first series of capes will deliver in 2025 and 2026 at $63.5m each, while brokers estimate the most recent quartet at $70m apiece. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1_95_0_1_2'); }); TagsGermany
