Emirates and Dubai Chambers have signed an agreement to support the international growth of Dubai-based small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Through the partnership, Dubai Chamber of Commerce members will gain access to logistics services from Emirates SkyCargo. The initiative aims to help local businesses reach new markets and strengthen their links with global supply chains. Emirates SkyCargo expands logistics access for SMEs Emirates SkyCargo will provide participating companies with access to its cargo network across six continents. In addition, businesses will be able to use Emirates Courier Express for international door-to-door shipments. The service combines transportation and customs clearance. As a result, SMEs can use it to move time-sensitive shipments to international markets. “Through this partnership with Dubai Chambers, we are committed to helping these businesses compete and thrive on a global stage by making international logistics and travel more accessible,” said Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, Emirates. The partnership will also focus on supply chain support. Emirates SkyCargo and Dubai Chambers plan to organise workshops and knowledge-sharing initiatives for SMEs and startups. Moreover, the two organisations will develop cargo advisory programmes. These programmes will help participating companies improve their supply chain operations as they expand internationally. Khalid AlJarwan, Executive Vice President of Commercial and Corporate Services at Dubai Chambers, said the cooperation would give member companies better access to logistics services, global connectivity and specialised expertise. The agreement also includes benefits through Emirates Business Rewards. New members who join the programme will receive 2,000 bonus points.
