File Image / Pixabay Consultancy firm Kickster Group has said its FuelEU Maritime compliance marketplace has seen rapid growth following the end of the first compliance cycle. More than 100 companies representing over 500 vessels joined the platform within weeks of launch, with interest increasing after the April 2026 compliance deadline, it said in an email statement on Tuesday . In March, the company launched the Kickster FuelEU Marketplace , a digital platform designed to help maritime companies manage compliance with the FuelEU Maritime regulation. Kickster added that all transactions completed through the platform during the first compliance cycle were successfully settled through THETIS-MRV. According to the company, the marketplace currently shows more than 20,000 mt of open interest for the 2026 compliance year, with prices below 2025 trading levels. OTC transactions were reported around €130-140/mt , with some tentative trading near €100/mt . Kickster said it is also developing standardised contracts, insurance solutions and tradable compliance options for the growing FuelEU market.
