As explained in a statement released on 8 May, the newly delivered vessel is equipped with a dual-fuel propulsion system capable of operating on both methanol and conventional fuel oil. Based on the photos released by the company, the vessel seems to have been constructed for Maersk, who has a large orderbook of dual-fuel methanol container ships.
