Houston-based oil and gas service provider CAM Integrated Solutions has made an official entry into the offshore decommissioning market. CAM’s new decommissioning division will provide clients with turnkey solutions that ensure efficient and environmentally responsible retirement of offshore facilities, which are tailored to the clients’ standard operating procedures. By integrating decommissioning with its existing suite of services, the company will be able to deliver solutions for end-of-life asset strategies in the Gulf of Mexico. CAM Decom will now be able to decommission from single-leg well caissons to 12-pile full production platforms, or larger. The company can now return the offshore lease to its original condition, which is all verified during the site clearance by the trawl boat. The company has appointed Brady Barras as the vice president of decommissioning to spearhead this foray into a new sector.
