Image Credit: SUARDIAZ An LNG dual-fuel pure car and truck carrier (PCTC) chartered by Spain ’s SUARDIAZ Group from Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS) has set sail from China for Europe . The 5,500 CEU RS Atlantico is the first PCTC newbuilding chartered by SUARDIAZ from EPS, EPS said in a LinkedIn post today. The 190 m vessel has a gross tonnage of about 55,000 and will transport vehicles, machinery and high-and-heavy cargo for SUARDIAZ Shipping Lines. The vessel's LNG dual-fuel capability allows it to operate on LNG as well as conventional marine fuel. "The RS Atlantico is more than a new addition to our fleet," SUARDIAZ said in a LinkedIn post.  "It reflects our continued investment in strengthening and modernising SUARDIAZ Group’s capabilities as a global logistics provider, adapting to the evolving needs of international supply chains."
